Welcome to the Cedarcrest Ward of the Cartersville Georgia Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints' bulletin.

WARD ANNOUNCEMENTS -

The Stake is asking for 3 families from our ward to volunteer their help around the Shipp Farm/Church Camp on March 14. They need help cleaning up around the existing houses at the site. Any volunteers are welcome to camp there overnight the night before.

WEDNESDAY MARCH 25 - The Valiant Activity Boys are having their annual Pinewood Derby Race at the church building on March 25th at 6:30PM and we’ve invited the Activity Girls to join us this year! The kids will be showing off and racing their handmade cars.

After the children’s race has been concluded, we will be having our Outlaw Race! (at roughly 7:30PM) And we welcome you to participate in it. These cars can be made of any material, be any weight, use any advanced technology and - as long as they fit on the track - they are legal to race! Dust off your old car from your childhood, or build a brand new car from scratch!

MARCH 5-7 -Rootstech resgistration is open - RootsTech is the world’s largest family discovery event, happening March 5–7, 2026. Join in-person in Salt Lake City, Utah, or online worldwide. The annual three-day conference includes temple and family history–themed activities, keynote speakers, classes, and forums on the latest family history innovations.

STAKE ANNOUNCEMENTS-

Mark your calendars and SAVE THE DATE for TREK scheduled for June 3-6, 2026 at Fort Mountain State Park.

This is for all youth turning 14+ in 2026. 2026 Graduating Seniors are also welcome!

Sunday, March 1st - 6-7:30 pm at the Etowah Valley Building, for the "WALK WITH ME" fireside.

This is for ALL YOUTH 11 and up. Come and be inspired. Trek information will also be shared.

March 7 -- Atlanta North Spring Formal at Georgia Gwinett College- Enchantment under the sea- Youth turning 16 or older - See flyer below -

RELIEF SOCIETY GATHERING - Various dates and times - see flyer below

LAMB OF GOD - a musical production which "recounts the Atonement and Resurrection of Jesus Christ through narration, orchestra, soloists, and choir." (roswellstake.org) Make an opportunity to deepen your faith in the Savior as you invite others to hear of His goodness and mercy.
